Customer Reviews

Great service, great quality - as usual!

Ordering online directly from Monrovia was a new experience, and one I'm glad I took a chance on. I was in the horticulture industry for 35 years and had purchased from Monrovia on both a wholesale and a retail basis. Always had a good experience. The company was reliable and the plants were of the best quality. Problems with orders and shipments were always handled courteously and professionally. But it is easy for things to go awry with internet orders so I had some trepidation about buying shrubs online. However, because of their reputation through personal experience, I felt confident Monrovia would get the job done. I was right. The order process was easy, and the shipment was made on time. The only glitch was not receiving an immediate notification from the nursery where my plant was shipped that they had received it. But because I got an email update from Monrovia, I knew it had to have arrived. And when I called the nursery where it was shipped, they knew exactly who I was and what I was calling about. Because no local nurseries accepted this type of shipment from Monrovia (I'm guessing that was it, since they handle some Monrovia stuff), I had to drive out of town to get my plant. But it was a beautiful plant and is doing great in the garden now after two weeks. I have recommended this process to my friends who are looking for plant material that their local nursery is not carrying. They can't stock everything that Monrovia grows, so if something is required that Monrovia can supply, this is a great way to acquire it.
Thanks for making it easier to garden the way I want to, Monrovia!
