Description Striking upright clumps of yellow-striped, grass-like foliage provide wonderful color and texture for lightly shaded gardens. An excellent groundcover or hardy bog plant for open woods, at water's edge, and in ponds or water gardens in up to four inches of water. Semi-evergreen.

Care Thrives in average soils with consistent moisture, even boggy conditions and standing water. Shelter from harsh sun exposure in hot summer regions. Water regularly to maintain moisture levels; will not tolerate dry soils. For a neat appearance, remove old, faded foliage before new leaves emerge. Divide every 2 to 3 years in early spring.
