To encourage bright red stems, hard prune one-third of oldest stems annually in late winter.

This plant has it all. It responded to transplanting like a champ. It put on new growth and immediately bushed out to become even more full than when it arrived. It is gorgeous. One of the prettiest colors of green and white I've even seen.
