A South African native with slender succulent foliage accented by tall flower stalks with small buds that have a unique green center stripe, revealing deep orange petals and frilly yellow stamens. This versatile dry climate gem adapts to humidity and harsh weather. Ideal rock garden plant or massed ground cover. Evergreen to 25 degrees F.

Provide well-drained, compost-enriched soil. Spreads quickly by rhizomes. A short summer dormant period may occur in hot interior climates.
