This statuesque, carefree shrub is a stellar plant for the winter garden. Dramatic, frond-like leaves grow in whorls along coarsely branched, upright stems. Great sprays of soft yellow flowers appear in winter, developing clusters of black ornamental berries by late summer and fall. A strong focal point in the landscape. Evergreen.

This is so nice in the area I have chosen next to my Blue Mouse Ears. I can't wait to see it change in the winter months. I see that area from my window so it will be a nice eye candy for me. The leaves remind me of an Oregon Grape.
