Incorporate it in a minimalist Asian garden or in the wild beauty of a native landscape. This tree can go where others can't, such as in raised planters, corner beds and even a patio container where you can enjoy its beauty up close.

Foliage Color Green
Companion Plants Witch Hazel (Hamamelis); Snowberry (Symphoricarpos); Dogwood (Cornus); Oak Leaf Hydrangea (Hydrangea); Oregon Grape Holly (Mahonia)
CARE
Care Prefers deep, light, well-drained soil. Best with light shade in hot southwestern deserts. Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system; once established, reduce frequency. Apply fertilizer in early spring.
