Description:

Lush foliage on vine-like growth with intensely fragrant, little white flowers that open at night and close in the morning, fading to pink as they age. Widely grown in the tropics as an ornamental plant and for its strongly scented flowers. Use in containers near patios and entryways where the fragrance can be enjoyed. A frost-tender evergreen.

History

The dried flowers of Arabian jasmine are used by the Chinese to flavor jasmine tea. In Hawaii they use the flowers in leis. In India they're used in garlands, and Arabian jasmine is the national flower of the Philippines.

temp over 100 soon after planting/ shows signs of stress/ recovers by morning. took heat/frost into consideration prior to placement. awaiting massive growth in a few years. good quality plant compared to those offered elsewhere

Arrived in fantastic shape and was already blooming. The plant store said the order from Monrovia was in much better condition than the order they got from another supplier. Now thriving beautifully.
