Tall, slender spikes of yellow flowers rise above sturdy clumps of narrow fleshy green leaves, blooming nearly continuously from mid-spring until fall. Provide well-drained, compost-enriched soil. Spreads quickly by rhizomes. A short summer dormant period may occur in hot interior climates.
