Design Ideas: This is a unique perennial that spreads like crazy in moist but sunny locations. Its foliage bears a wide range of colors, hence its name 'Chameleon'. During the off-season, it's ideal for foliage contrast amidst more evenly green groundcovers and dwarf shrubs. Fills in to control weeds under more upright plants. Spot into the sunny edges of shade gardens or grow in containers for the bronze leaves.

Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. As a groundcover, space plants 2 ft. to 3 ft. apart, (closer for faster coverage). Control weeds with mulch until the plants cover the area.
