Description:

Native to California hillsides, this low growing, drought tolerant evergreen shrub requires little care. White flowers arrive in spring, age to pink in summer, turning rust colored in fall. Leaves, flower nectar and seeds are an important food source for butterflies and small birds. Useful in water-wise or xeric landscapes, informal hillside plantings, and wildlife gardens.
